The battle for the Pacific Division takes place Tuesday when the Anaheim Ducks host the San Jose Sharks.
If the Sharks are going to catch Anaheim they might have to win out and get some help as well as they trail the Ducks by three points in the Pacific. San Jose missed out on a chance to pick up two valuable points Saturday in a 3-0 loss to visiting Nashville. Carter Hutton also came up big between the pipes with 35 stops for his first career shutout. Antti Niemi stopped 21 shots to take the loss as the Predators won all three meetings this season.
