The Pittsburgh Penguins travel to Nationwide Arena looking to wrap up their series with the Columbus Blue Jackets.
The Penguins showed there was no hangover from their shocking loss to Columbus in game four by grinding out a 3-1 decision at the Consol Energy Center on Saturday for a 3-2 series lead. The previous four games turned in to slugfests on the scoreboard with a 4-3 final in each but this one had no such fireworks.

There were no miscues by Marc-Andre Fleury this time around to breathe new life in to the Blue Jackets as the Pittsburgh netminder recorded 23 stops to pick up the win. The game didn't start great with Columbus receiving a power play tally from Boone Jenner at 12:55 of the first. The Penguins returned the favor with a PP goal of their own off the stick of Chris Kunitz at 7:42 of the second that set up a tense final frame. Jussi Jokinen scored the eventual game winner at 6:16 of the third while Kris Letang ended all mystery with an empty netter. Sergei Bobrovsky kept his team alive with a 48 save performance.
I'm not surprised Pittsburgh played a strong game with plenty of veterans on the team that are able to forget past performances and take care of the business at hand. I got the feeling this was the Pens game to win as they constantly threatened and minimized the rubber that Fleury saw. The one area of concern is Sydney Crosby has not scored in this series. No line is out yet but I am looking at another close game Monday and lean Penguins right now but I have plenty of time to dig deeper in to it so please check back...
