The suddenly hot Los Angeles Kings head out on the road for game seven at San Jose Wednesday night.
The Kings stopped visiting San Jose 4-1 on Tuesday to knot their series at three games apiece with the series shifting to San Jose for game seven. Los Angeles had looked lethargic at best in falling behind in the series 3-0 as their trademark defense and goaltending was hammered by the Sharks attack. However the LAK have done a 180 since and have stiffled the Sharks scoring in winning three straight with a chance to make it four with the conference semifinals at stake.

A controversial goal by Justin Williams with around eight minutes remaining snapped a 1-1 tie and the Kings never looked back. The Sharks argued that Williams tally should have been disallowed because the puck was lodged under goalie Alex Stalock long enough to merit a whistle but the refs declared the play not reviewable and Williams had his second of the contest. Anze Kopitar potted a pair of goals 1:15 apart to finish off the scoring to make Jonathan Quick's 25 stops a winning effort. James Sheppard lit the lamp in the second for San Jose with Stalock stopping 26 shots in his first start of the series.
The Kings have flipped a switch on it seems but the battle isn't over because winning at San Jose won't be easy. Havng said that the momentum is on their side and their defense and goaltending are what makes this team a threat to win away from home in a hostile environment. I am up in the air on this but lean to the visitors while waiting for a line...
