The Minnesota Wild look to keep their run going when they visit the United Center for game five.
Minnesota looked dead in the water after Chicago stormed to 2-0 series lead after opening the series with back to back home games. However the Wild but the clamps on the Blackhawks high flying offense in sweeping their two at home. The talk of Ilya Bryzgalov being an easier target in goal then Darcy Kuemper was dispelled with Bryzgalov one of the reasons the series is now even.

This one was a little wide open with the teams combining for five goals through two periods with the home team leading 3-2. Overall four players lit the lamp for Minnesota with Nino Niederreiter, Jason Pominville, Justin Fontaine and Jared Spurgeon doing the duties while Bryzgalov picked up the win with an 18 stop effort. The Blackhawks received goals from Michal Handzus and Patrick Kane with Corey Crawford recording 27 saves.
I think many people had written off Minnesota after falling behind in the series 2-0. However the Wild are very good on their home ice and are now 6-0 in this postseason. As the series shifts to game five at the United Center the Blackhawks have to get back to what they do best and that's spreading the ice at the offensive end and putting the rubber in the net. On paper and in the first two games we saw the many scoring options the Hawks have at their disposal and I think a few of them light the lamp.
