The Montreal Canadiens look to even their series with a road win over the New York Rangers in game four.
The Rangers saw a golden opportunity to put the Canadiens in a huge hole but instead saw their series lead shrink to 2-1 following a 3-2 overtime loss on Thursday. This one was a bit helter skelter at the end with the Rangers scoring with the Lundqvist pulled to send it to the extra session but it turned out to be all for naught as Alex Galchenyuk lit the lamp just 1:12 in to OT when a rebound bounced off of him and in to the net.

The Blue Shirts jumped to a 1-0 lead in the opening frame on Carl Hagelin's tally with under five minutes remaining. The Canadiens got on the board on Andrei Markov's second period marker that knotted the score heading in to the final 20 minutes. Danny Briere gave the visitors the lead with just over three minutes to play when a rebound off a Rene Bourque shot was pushed in. That's when the dramatics began with Lundqvist on the bench when Chris Kreider tipped a pass from Dan Girardi off the skate of Alexei Emlin and past Dustin Tokarski with 28 ticks left in regulation.
Lundqvist stopped 21 shots in the loss but all eyes were on Tokarski who won his first ever postseason contest with a 35 save performance. I don't think anything that happens is a surprise anymore with late goals scored so often that it has become almost expected and momentum is over rated. The Rangers are a better road team then at home and that proved out Thursday and showed why it's not wise to lay big chalk. No line out yet and honestly I need to look at this deeper and will post a pick a few hours before the puck drops...
