The New York Rangers will have another chance to close out the Montreal Canadiens in game six of the Eastern Conference finals on Thursday night.

After scoring just eight goals in the first four games, the Canadiens exploded in game five with a, 7-4, victory. Rene Bourque scored three goals in the win and now has eight goals in the playoffs, just one shy of his regular season total. The Canadiens are now 10-1 in the playoffs when scoring at least three goals. While it may seem like the Canadiens played a flawless game, backup goalie Dustin Tokarski has allowed three or more goals in three of his four starts in this series. P.K. Subban has one goal, one assist and two points in this series. The Montreal Canadiens are 28-17-3-1 on the road.

New York Rangers vs. Montreal Canadiens NHL Pick, Odds, Prediction - 5/29/14 Game Six

USA TODAY Sports

The Rangers played their worst game of the playoffs so far and it led to goalie Henrik Lundqvist being benched midway through the action. The Rangers are 0-6 in the playoffs when allowing three or more goals. Offensively, the Rangers still showed up, scoring three goals in the second period and getting two goals from Derek Stepan despite a broken jaw. Ryan McDonagh has three assists in his last two games and Rick Nash has broken out in this series, racking up three goals and two assists. While the Rangers are better on the road, they are a decent 25-20-3-2 on their home ice.

The Canadiens are 11-5 in their last 16 road games and 6-2 in their last 8 after scoring 5 goals or more in their previous game. The Rangers are 4-0 in their last 4 when their opponent scores 5 goals or more in their previous game and 4-1 in their last 5 games playing on 1 days rest. The home team is 23-11 in the last 34 meetings.

I don't exactly like the juice in this matchup, but it's really the only bet. The Canadiens threw out all of the stops in game five and caught Lundqvist on a bad day. Don't expect him to be off in two straight games. Again, the juice isn't pretty, but it's worth it considering I don't see the Rangers falling short in a second chance to advance to the finals.
