The Scotiabank Saddledome and the Calgary Flames welcome the Arizona Coyotes to town Thursday.
The Arizona Coyotes go on the road looking to begin a long hot streak when they visit Calgary on Thursday night to kick off a three game road swing. The Coyotes are looking to rebound from a 4-3 defeat at the hands of visiting Dallas on Tuesday who scored twice in the second and third to snap an ugly seven game slide. Tyler Sequin paced the Stars offense with a pair of tallies while Erik cole and Ryan Garbutt also sored withe latter lighting the lamp while shorthanded with 1:16 left in regulation to make a winner of Kari Lehtonen and his 33 saves. The Coyotes received goals from Joe Vitale, Connor Murphy and Mikkel Boedker with Mike Smith absorbing the loss with all four goals scored on 32 shots as Arizona lost back to back contests.

The Calgary Flames look to begin their homestand with a victory over Arizona on Thursday night. The Flames look to rebound from a 4-1 defeat at the suddenly surging Carolina Hurricanes who have gone 5-0-1 in their last six contests behind dominant play at both ends of the ice. Justin Faulk was the catalyst for the Canes attack witn a goal and a pair of helpers while Zach Boychuk, Jeff Skinner and Tim Gleason also lit the lamp in support of Cam Ward who won his 5th straight with a 22 save effort. The Flames lone tally came off the stick of David Jones that evened the score in the first but it was all downhill from there with Jonas Hiller charged with the defeat despite a 27 save performance.
The under is 9-0-2 in Coyotes last 11 games playing on 1 days rest and is 4-0 in Coyotes last 4 when their opponent scores 2 goals or less in their previous game while the Coyotes are 0-4 in their last 4 Thursday games. For Calgary the Flames are 4-0 in their last 4 vs. Western Conference and the over is 4-0 in Flames last 4 vs. Pacific while the Flames are 4-0 in their last 4 home games vs. a team with a road winning % of less than .400. Head to head the Coyotes are 0-5 in the last 5 meetings in Calgary and the home team is 16-5 in the last 21 meetings.
