The Tampa Bay Lightning look to light up the score board for the second time in as many nights as they travel from New York to Buffalo to take on the Sabres.

The Bolts made a statement to the rest of the NHL on Monday night as they thrashed the defending Eastern Conference champions to the tune of a 6-3 final and demonstrated just how easy they can score the puck. Everyone knows that the Lightning have a potent offense but to throw six on the board at MSG against Henrik Lundqvist is quite impressive eveb for the league's top offense that now leads the Penguins in that department by four goals. Tampa has a chance to sweep their New York road trop as they head up to Buffalo to face off against the lowly Sabres who have been playing quite well of late despite sitting in the basement of the Atlantic division and 16 points behind Tampa Bay. Ben Bishop got the call against the Rangers last night and with this being Buffalo we can expect that Evgeni Nabokov will get the call here against Jhonas Enroth.
Buffalo is coming off back to back victories over the Montreal Canadiens and have the opportunity to take down another Eastern Conference power house in this one when the Lightning come to town. The Sabres are in for a long season and will likely be drafting in the top three once again this year which will provide another piece for the rebuild which off in the distance looks very promising. Buffalo has an 8-14-2 record with four of their wins and both of their singles coming on home ice which has to give them some sense of confidence despite playing against a Lightning team that is 7-4-1 on the road but with emotions running high after last night's win against the Rangers who are quickly becoming arch rivals with the Bolts this could be the time to pounce for the Sabres. I don't like this game one bit as I think the Sabres could very well get the victory based on the context but betting with Buffalo and against Tampa have both been ill advised this season so I think it'll be a no play for me. However, if I had to I would take a shot with the Sabres as a pretty heft home dog.
