Tomas Fleischmann and Jonathan Huberdeau each scored in the opening frame while Roberto Luongo picked up the victory with a 29 save performance. Gustav Nyquist and Riley Sheahan supplied goals for the Red Wings with Jimmy howard totaling 18 stops in the loss.
