We’re coming off another exciting evening of NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs 2015, and we’ve got four more games to look forward to tonight. While we’re waiting, let’s check out some of the notable players and situations out there.

Craig Anderson, G, Ottawa Senators: With their backs up against the wall and facing a sweep at the hands of the Canadiens, the Senators were able to pull out a big victory last night.
Anderson made 28 saves in the 1-0 shutout, which brings Ottawa to a 3-1 deficit in the series. Mike Hoffman scored the decisive goal here.
Game 5 is tomorrow night.

Kevin Hayes, RW, New York Rangers: Hayes got to play the hero last night, scoring the game-winning goal in overtime to give the Rangers a 2-1 victory in Pittsburgh and a 3-1 edge in the series against the Penguins.
Henrik Lundqvist put up saves on 22 of 23 shots in what was a defensive-oriented, chippy game from both sides. All four of these games so far have been decided by one goal.

Vladimir Tarasenko, RW, St. Louis Blues: Tarasenko had a nice offensive game last night for the Blues, helping his team to a big 6-1 win. He scored twice on three shots here, while teammate Kevin Shattenkirk picked up a trio of assists.
This series Blues-Wild series is really getting interesting; it’s tied 2-2 and heading back to Scottrade Center tomorrow night for Game 5.

Ryan Kesler, C, Anaheim Ducks: Speaking of Game 5, the Ducks won’t be seeing one since they’ve already taken care of business in their first-round matchup against the Jets.
Anaheim completed the 4-0 sweep with a 5-2 victory last night; Kesler scored twice on five shots and Andrew Cogliano also added a goal.
The Ducks will now rest and heal up as they await the winner of the Flames-Canucks series (Calgary is up 3-1 in that one).
