The Bruins look to get in the win column as they take to the road to face off against the Avalanche at the Pepsi Centre.
The Bruins are hoping a trip away from home will be the remedy to serve their losing woes as they dropped their first three games of the season, all at home, and sit in the basement in the league standings. Boston took a step back last season but ruled it to injury and other distractions but it just looks like this team is a bit off and without Milan Lucic there this season they seem to lack a bit of tenacity and identity. The B's are still a good team and Tuukka Rask is a solid goaltender but face off against one of the best lines in the NHL and with Colorado having last change they can set it up to their advantage if the game is close.

The Avalanche meanwhile are looking to get back into the playoffs after taking last year off and with the group they have in place they are more than capable of getting there. The Avs as mentioned boast a lethal to line of Nathan Mackinnon, Matt Duchene, and Gabriel Landeskog and with Jarome Iginla off to a hot start Colorado could very well go on a run in the Central division. The Avs are led in the crease by Semyon Varlamov who has been a very serviceable goaltender since entering the league and has established himself as the go to guy ahead of Reto Berra in Denver but you can bet with Patrick Roy behind the bench he won't hesitate to shake things up if Varly isn't on his game. While the B's are going to end their losing skid soon and the value here is very tempting I just don't like the match up against Colorado and I see the home side getting the win.
