USA TODAY Sports

The Philadelphia Flyers look for a third straight victory to get a game above a .500 record. The Philadelphia Flyers are averaging 1.8 goals per game and are scoring on 18.8 percent of their power plays. Brayden Schenn leads Philly with two goals, R. J. Umberger has two assists and Mark Streit has 10 shots on goal. Defensively, the Philadelphia Flyers are allowing 2.5 goals per game and are killing 81 percent of their power play chances. Michal Neuvirth has allowed three goals on 83 shots faced and Steve Mason has given up seven goals on 40 shots. Neuvirth has allowed three or more goals in seven of his last 10 regular season outings. R.J. Umberger is questionable with an upper-body injury.

The Stars are 10-1 in their last 11 vs. Metropolitan and 16-5 in their last 21 overall. The Flyers are 5-2 in their last 7 vs. Central and 2-6 in their last 8 vs. Western Conference. The Stars are 1-4 in the last 5 meetings in Philadelphia and 2-8 in the last 10 meetings overall.

Both squads have picked up a little steam and should be feeling good about themselves heading into this matchup. In a toss-up match, I'm going to side with the Flyers simply because they're at home.
