The Line: Winnipeg Jets -105 / Los Angeles Kings -105 --- Over/Under: 5 See the Latest Odds
The Kings look to secure their sixth victory in a row as they head into Winnipeg on Tuesday while the Jets are looking for their second in a row and sixth of the season.
The LA Kings got away with one in Edmonton on Sunday night as a goal in the dying seconds that looked as though it crossed the line was deemed no goal and as such the Kings held on for a 3-2 win and locked up their fifth win in a row. LA continues their road trip in Winnipeg on Tuesday in a battle with the Jets and the Kings know this will be a much different style of play as Winnipeg has a ton of bruisers on the back end and a ton of grit up top, much like their own game and this should be an exciting encounter between two Western Conference playoff hopefuls. Jonathan Quick is expected to get the start as he will go up against Ondrej Pavelec who remains the front runner as the starter moving forward.

The Jets are off to a nice start but are in the midst of a tough Central division that has some of the game's best teams and while things are likely to open up as the season goes along, Winnipeg knows they have to stay composed all season if they're going to take a shot at the playoffs. The Jets are basically the same group as last year and could see some other pieces join the mix moving forward but overall they are a very good group and match up very well against most teams in the league and in a spot at home here against a solid Kings team they are going to have to play well. The Kings are red hot but I think they caught a huge break on Sunday and I think the Jets get in the win column here.
