The Kings look to secure their eighth win in a row as they head into the United Center to battle the Blackhawks who have lost back to back games.
The LA Kings got off to a rough start dropping their first three games of the year but they have really turned it on ever since as they have won seven in a row and look like the team that has created a dynasty over the last few seasons in doing so. The Kings are one of the best teams in the league once again this season and will be a trendy pick come playoff time to go all the way as they have the pedigree of a champion and have a ton of experience thanks to their two Cups in the last four seasons. The Kings are undefeated at 3-0 on the road so far this season and head into face a Chicago team that is 5-1 at home.

The Blackhawks continue to prove they are one of the best home ice teams in the NHL but their play on the road this season has been a cause for concern and while that is of no interest to us in this spot as they are at the United Center tonight it is alarming moving forward. Chicago is missing Duncan Keith on the blue line and against a good team like the Kings it may shine through even more than against some of the league basement dwellers and with LA having a very similar style of play to the Hawks they know how to exploit their weaknesses and I think we see them do it tonight. Eight wins in a row is a lot but the Kings can do it and getting them at a price is well worth it.
