The slumping Philadelphia Flyers found no relief at Rexall Place Tuesday with a 4-2 defeat at the hands of the Edmonton Oilers. Neither the defense or offense played well as the Flyers suffered their 5th consecutive defeat. The Edmonton offense received their scoring from Matt Hendricks, Ryan-Nugent-Hopkins who had two (empty net) while Taylor Hall scored and had a pair of helpers with Anders Nilsson picking up the win with 20 stops. Ryan White and Scott Laughton lit the lamp for Philadelphia with Michal Neuvirth getting the loss despite a monster 45 stop performance.

Calgary had a pair of goals disallowed on video replay and have now dropped five of six.
