November 10, 2015
After a single game last night, the NHL is kicking things into high gear this evening, with a whopping 12 matchups on tap. Before we get settled in for our nightly hockey fix, let’s check out some of the notable players and headlines out there in our daily wrap-up.
Mikkel Boedker, LW, Arizona Coyotes: Last night’s lone NHL game was a good one, with the Coyotes and Ducks going to overtime in Anaheim at Honda Center.
Boedker logged a goal and an assist in the 4-3 win, including the game-winning score in overtime. Max Domi posted a pair of scores for Arizona to aid the cause.
The Ducks were up 2-0 in the first period here. Ryan Kesler notched his first score of the year at 6:49. The team couldn’t hold the lead, however, and slips to 5-7-3.
The Coyotes are now 7-6-1 on the season.

The Blue Jackets will likely be without winger David Clarkson tonight. He’s nursing a back injury and missed practice yesterday.
Clarkson hasn’t been on the ice since November 3.
The Blackhawks’ Patrick Kane earned first star of the week honors yesterday. He’s currently riding a 10-game points streak, ending with a four-point night against the Oilers Sunday.
Tyler Seguin earned the week's second star, while Mike Condon slid into the third spot.
NHL legend Sergei Fedorov was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame last night. He put up 483 goals and 1179 points in his 1248 games.
Fedorov and Alexander Ovechkin are tied for the goal-scoring lead among Russian-born NHL players.
Also getting into the Hall of Fame last night were Chris Pronger, Nicklas Lidstrom, Phil Housey, Angela Ruggiero, Bill Hay and Peter Karmanos Jr.
