The Penguins look to find their scoring touch with a home date against the Wild on Tuesday while the visitors aim for their 11th win of the season.
The Minnesota Wild find themselves in the mix atop the Central division standings as they sit five points back of the Dallas Stars for the top mark and with a victory on the road against the Pens tonight they will push their start to an impressive 11-3-3. Minny has been knocking on the door for the last few seasons and are expected to make a full breakthrough this year as they are quickly approaching the Cup-or-bust mind frame and with this core they are in a good position to get there. Minny is a very talented group and they will have that on full display against the Penguins on Tuesday night who have stumbled out of the gates and are looking to right the ship.
USA TODAY Sports
The Penguins head into action on Tuesday night with a 10-7 record and a 7-3 mark in their last 10 overall but they have dropped back to back games and still can't seem to get their offense going despite having Sidney Crosby, Evgeni Malkin, and Phil Kessel on the roster. Pittsburgh needs to get their offense rolling as they are spoiling a nice start to the year from Marc-Andre Fleury and with the talent they have it will come in good time but this is not the spot for it to happen as the Wild are solid in their own end and a great two-way team with a goalie who has carried over last year's break out into this season. Minny is on the road but I like them here at a great price to come away with the win.
