Joe Pavelski, C, San Jose Sharks: Pavelski had a great game last night against the Bruins at TD Garden. He logged a goal and two assists, helping his team to a 5-4 nail-biter victory.
Patrick Marleau and Joe Thornton each logged a power-play goal just 25 seconds apart during the second, while Brent Burns posted a pair of assists.
The Sharks are 3-0-0 on their six-game trip so far and 10-8-0 overall.

Evgeni Malkin, C, Pittsburgh Penguins: Malkin passed a landmark during his team’s 4-3 win over the Wild at Consol Energy Center last night. He scored his 100th NHL power-play goal on the way to a pair of scores and two assists on the evening. The Pens were 2-of-6 on the power play overall.
Pittsburgh moves to 11-7-0 with the win, while the Wild fall to 10-4-3.
P.A. Parenteau, RW, Toronto Maple Leafs: Speaking of power play goals, the Leafs’ special teams were on fire last night against the Avalanche. They scored on four of five chances, en route to a 5-1 victory at Air Canada Centre.
Parenteau scored twice, while Tyler Bozak had a goal and two assists. James Reimer managed 34 saves on 35 shots.
Toronto has now won four of their last six and sit at 6-9-4 on the year.
Pekka Rinne, G, Nashville Predators: Down at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, the Predators held off the Ducks last night for a 3-2 victory.
Rinne put up 38 saves on 40 shots, with 30 coming in the second and third periods combined.
