The Arizona Coyotes pay a visit to the Bell Centre to take the ice with the Montreal Canadiens.
The Arizona Coyotes were in the wrong place at the wrong time Monday in a 5-2 defeat at the hands of the New York Islanders at the Barclays Center. John Tavares supplied a pair of goals while Brock Nelson, Steve Bernier and Frans Nielsen also tallied. Kyle Okposo logged three assists and Jaroslav Halak was strong between the pipes with 31 stops that upped the Islanders record to 10-6-3. The Coyotes appeared to be going on a hot streak but have now dropped the first two contests of a road swing and fell to 9-8-1. Arizona received goals from Mikkel Boedker and Martin Hanzal but Anders Lindback struggled with four goals given up on 27 shots.

The Montreal Canadiens proved that it is never over until the fat lady sings as they rallied from a 3-0 hole to hand the Vancouver Canucks a 4-3, overtime defeat at the Bell Centre on Monday. David Desharnais completed the comeback with his goal 3:25 in to the extra session while Tomas Fleischmann, Max Pacioretty and Lars Eller tallied in regulation. Mike Condon picked up the win with 23 stops as the Habs improved to 14-3-2. Jared McCann, Adam Cracknell and Daniel Sedin supplied the offense for the Canucks with Jacob Markstrom absorbing the loss despite a 32 stop effort.
The over is 5-0-1 in Coyotes last 6 road games and is 4-0-1 in Coyotes last 5 vs. Eastern Conference while the Coyotes are 1-10 in their last 11 after allowing 5 goals or more in their previous game. The over is 4-0 in Canadiens last 4 vs. Pacific and is 6-0 in Canadiens last 6 vs. Western Conference while going 4-0 in Canadiens last 4 overall. The under is 2-0-2 in the last 4 meetings in Montreal and the Coyotes are 2-12-2 in the last 16 meetings while going 1-6-1 in the last 8 meetings in Montreal.
