Despite dominating the majority of the game the Montreal Canadiens dropped a 3-2 decision to the Washington Capitals on Thursday. In the process the surging Capitals notched their 6th consecutive victory to up their record to 18-5-1. TJ Oshie paced the Caps with a pair of goals including the game winner while Tom Wilson also lit the lamp to make a winner of Braden Holtby and his 33 stops.
