We’ve got 24 NHL games to look forward to over the next three days, starting with seven on tonight’s schedule. While we’re waiting on those, let’s take our daily look at the headlines and see who’s in the news.

Tuukka Rask, G, Boston Bruins: The Bruins came into their matchup against the Canadiens last night on a seven-game losing skid to Montreal. They were able to break that trend last night on a 3-1 win at Bell Centre.
Rask made 32 saves, with Loui Eriksson and Landon Ferraro scoring 42 seconds apart in the final period.
The Bruins will see Montreal again at the 2016 Bridgestone NHL Winter Classic.

Jordan Eberle had a score and a helper, as did Justin Braun on the other side.
The Oilers are now 12-15-2. The Sharks fall to 14-13-1, and star center Logan Couture didn’t play late in the game.

Beau Bennett, RW, Pittsburgh Penguins: The Penguins were down 2-1 in the third period last night against the Avalanche at Pepsi Center, but were able to score three goals in a span of 3:24 to surge to a 4-2 win.
Bennett scored two goals, while Patric Hornqvist had a goal and an assist with three shots. Marc-Andre Fleury put up 24 saves.
The Pens finish 2-2-0 on their four-game trip, and are 15-10-2 on the year.

Alexander Edler, D, Vancouver Canucks: There was no score heading into the third period last night in Vancouver, but the Canucks were able to change that and finish with a 2-1 victory over the Rangers.
Edler and Sedin each had a goal and an assist here, while Ryan Miller put up 32 saves on 33 shots.
The Canucks are now 11-11-8. They’ve won two straight for the first time since November 2. The Rangers, meanwhile are 18-7-3 and on an ugly 2-5-1 skid right now.
