The Bruins look to shake off a loss at home to the Ducks yesterday as they take to the road to face off against the Boston Bruins.
The Devils were dealt a tough 2-1 loss at home against the Anaheim Ducks yesterday as Keith Kinkaid put forth a nice effort but couldn't get any offensive support which has been the case for most of the season with New Jersey. Now, the Devils head into the TD Garden to face off against a Bruins side that has won two in a row, is 6-1-3 in their last 10, and are making a serious charge up the Eastern Conference standings. New Jersey heads into Sunday's game with a record of 16-13-4 despite a two game losing streak and remain in the mix for an Eastern Conference playoff spot and if they can add an offensive piece or two at the trade deadline they could very well challenge for a home ice spot in the first round though they'll need to get to that point first. Corey Schneider returns to the crease as he willf ace off against Tuukka Rask.

The Bruins come into this one well rested after getting Saturday off and have a chance thanks to Montreal's loss yesterday in Dallas to pull within a single point of the division lead which is a crazy thought considering where both of these teams were a month ago. The B's are starting to play like the team that was a perennial contender at the turn of the decade and thanks to a wretched stretch from the Habs and a pretty soft division overall they could very well land the top seed and grab home ice for at least the first two rounds of the postseason. That is putting the cart before the horse a bit as there is a ton of hockey left to be played and anything can happen but right now it would be foolish to fade this group and at home against a Devils team playing in a back to back I think Boston is the play.
