Pavel Datysuk scored the lone goal for the Red Wings and Jimmy Howard allowed all four goals on 14 shots before getting lifted as Detroit fell to 18-12-7 following back to back defeats.

The Chicago Blackhawks slumping offense finally came to life in a 7-5 win versus the Arizona Coyotes at the Gila River Arena on Tuesday night. Andrew Desjardins lit the lamp twice while Patrick Kane and Duncan Keith each scored and logged two assists each with Artemi Panarin, Artem Anisimov and Jonathan Toews also finding the scoring column. Corey Crawford picked up the win with 32 saves as Chicago improved to 21-13-4. Shane Doan had a hat trick for the Coyotes with Connor Murphy and Zbynek Michalek also scoring but Anders Lindback allowed three goals in the first on five shots before Louis Dominique gave up three on 22 shots in relief.
