Jesper Fast, RW, New York Rangers: The Rangers got a solid win yesterday against the Bruins at the Garden, taking a 2-1 result.
Fast had a deflection goal with 1:42 left in the third, which was the game-winner. Derick Brassard tied things up at the beginning of the period for the other goal.
Henrik Lundqvist posted 32 saves here and now has 19 wins on the season. The Rangers are 23-14-5 overall.

Brent Burns, D, San Jose Sharks: Burns had a goal and an assist, as did Joe Thornton, last night against the Flames to help the team to a 5-4 victory at Scotiabank Saddledome.
The Sharks bagged their 14th road win of the year in this one; only the Capitals have more (16). That puts them at 20-18-2 on the season.
As for the Flames, they’ve lost four of five at home and sit at 19-20-2.
Daniel Sedin, LW, Vancouver Canucks: The Florida Panthers’ epic win streak is officially over, thanks to a 2-1 defeat at the hands of the Canucks at Rogers arena last night.
Vancouver stopped Florida’s streak at 12 games with a 3-2 overtime win. Sedin had a pair of goals on five shots, and rookie forward Jake Virtanen tied it up at 2-2 with 2:38 left in the third period.
The Panthers still set a franchise record with at least one point in 13 straight games. They’re 26-12-5.
Anze Kopitar, C, Los Angeles Kings: The Red Wings had a little win streak of their own (four games) coming into the Kings game last night, but were shut down in Los Angeles.
Kopitar scored and had three assists in the 4-2 win at Staples Center. Teammate Milan Lucic had two assists.
Kopitar has three goals and 12 assists in just nine games since the break. He’s cooking right now. The Kings are 7-1-1 in that span, and 27-13-3 overall.
