We’ve got eight games ahead of us in tonight’s NHL schedule, so it’ll be a good evening to kick back and watch some hockey. In the meantime, let’s check out our daily wrap-up of the key players and stats out there.

Taylor Hall, LW, Edmonton Oilers: Hall bagged two goals and an assist last night against the Panthers in Sunrise, helping his team to a 4-2 victory.
Cam Talbot held down the defensive end on 33 saves.
It’s not all good news for Edmonton here, though. Forward Ryan Nugent-Hopkins sustained a hand injury in the second period and will be sidelined for a while.
