The Los Angeles Kings solidified their lead over Pacific rival the San Jose Sharks with a 3-2, overtime victory at the SAP Center on Friday night. Marian Gaborik was the Kings offensive star with a breakaway tally at 4:06 of the extra session with Vincent LeCavalier and Drew Doughty also lighting the lamp. Jhonas Enroth recorded 30 saves to lift Los Angeles to 30-15-3. San Jose received goals from Logan Couture and Joe Pavelski while Martin Jones recorded 29 saves as the Sharks dropped to 25-19-4 but are 7-0-2 the past nine contests.
