Jean-Francois Berube picked up his first career win with 40 stops in his first start since missing 22 games due to injury to lift the Isles to 26-16-6. Late scoring and solid defense powered the New Jersey Devils to a 3-2 victory versus the New York Rangers at the Prudential Center. Dave Schlemko tallied the winner with under nine minutes left in regulation with Joseph Blandisi and Lee Stempniak also lighting the lamp to make a winner of Cory Schneider and his 31 saves that upped the Devils record to 26-20-5. JT Miller provided New York with both goals but Henrik Lundqvist could not make it hold up with all three goals given up on 25 shots as the Rangers dropped to 27-18-5.
