We’ve got an absolutely huge NHL schedule coming up tonight, with 12 matchups on the slate. In the meantime, there’s plenty to talk about when it comes to players from around the league, so let’s check out what’s happening out there.

T.J. Oshie, RW, Washington Capitals: The Caps are just one victory away from the fabled 100-point mark, thanks to a 3-2 win over the Leafs last night at Verizon Center.
Oshie bagged three assists, while Nicklas Backstrom had two. Alex Ovechkin scored his 41st goal late in the first period.
The Caps have 98 points at 47-12-4; the Leafs have 52 at 21-31-10.

Patrick Kane, RW, Chicago Blackhawks: The Blackhawks snagged a nice win over their rival Red Wings last night at Joe Louis Arena, prevailing 5-2.
Kane had two assists and a goal in this one, as did Brent Seabrook. Corey Crawford put up 31 saves in the win.
The Blackhawks have a 40-20-5 record with 85 points; the Red Wings are 32-21-11 with 75 points.

Corey Perry, RW, Anaheim Ducks: The Ducks and Canadiens had to get into a shootout last night to decide a winner at Honda Center, with the Ducks coming out on top 3-2.
Perry bagged a goal here, tying the game at 2-2 at 10:51 in the third. It was his 27th score of the year and came on the power play.
Alex Galchenyuk scored twice for Montreal in the loss and has 19 goals on the year.
The Ducks have 78 points at 35-19-8; the Canadiens are 30-28-6 with 66 points.
