The Anaheim Ducks look for their third win in a row in this series as they return home to face off against the Nashville Predators.
The Predators took the playoff world by storm by winning back to back games in Anaheim to start this series but they have quickly given it all back thanks to two straight losses on home ice that now has them deadlocked at two after four games. Nashville was one of the league’s best teams after the all-star break and were rewarded with a playoff berth as the top wild card spot in the Western Conference, but their reward was a date with the Pacific division champions who were just as good down the stretch and really put an end to any speculation of a disappointing season that didn’t start very well. Pekka Rinne will continue to get the nod in the Nashville crease as he will face off against John Gibson.

The Ducks meanwhile looked shaky in their first two games on home ice but showed why they were considered a Cup favourite heading into these playoffs and now with all the momentum in their favour back on home ice they have a chance to take a 3-2 series lead. Anaheim has gone through stretches of futility this season but have been among the league’s best when they’re clicking and right now they certainly are doing so as they have dominated the last two in Nashville. The Ducks are the favourites for good reason here and while the road team has won all four games of this series thus far I see the trend getting bucked here as Anaheim gets their third in a row.
