The Toronto Maple Leafs look to complete the sweep over the Edmonton Oilers as the two sides meet up in Edmonton on Tuesday.

The Maple Leafs look for a rare road victory as they head into Rogers Place to face off against the Edmonton Oilers and if they can employ the same game plan they had when the two sides met up at the ACC earlier this season they should be able to get the win. Nazem Kadri had his best game of the season against the Oil as he was a thorn in the side of Connor McDavid and also netted two goals including the overtime winner, but the Oilers will have last change here and will be able to get the matchups they want and likely keep McDavid away from Kadri. Toronto is expected to send Frederik Andersen to the crease here as he will face off against Cam Talbot.

USA TODAY Sports

The Oilers meanwhile look to shake off a loss against the Arizona Coyotes and avenge their early season loss to the Leafs and will look to take advantage of a Toronto side that is due to play again on Wednesday night and might be in a look ahead spot. Edmonton has a very potent offense that is clicking right now as McDavid leads the NHL in points and assists and he will certainly look for a better outing than he had in his home town against the Leafs where he was blanked by the blue and white. Talbot has been strong so far this season and will need to be sharp against a Leafs side that has some of their own young superstars including Auston Matthews and Mitch Marner.

The Leafs are 5-1 in their last six against the Pacific and 17-59 in their last 76 road games while the Oilers are 3-7 in their last 10 overall and 1-4 in their last five home games. The Buds continue to play well against teams they are over matched against and struggle in winnable games but this one falls in between. I think Edmonton will get some revenge as McDavid has a big outing.
