The Arizona Coyotes take the ice at the S&P Center to face the San Jose Sharks in NHL hockey.
If there is one team that dominates another in the NHL, it’s Arizona over Edmonton. The Coyotes continued to haunt the Oilers with a 2-1 victory on Sunday and now own an almost impossible 21-0-1 record against Edmonton in the last 25 meetings. Radim Vrabata scored the first goal for Zona before Jamie McGinn’s tally late in regulation won it for Mike Smith who is 15-1-1 in his career against Edmonton. The lone goal for the Oilers came off the stick Milan Lucic while Cam Talbot was charged with both goals on 23 shots. The Coyotes have won three of four and improved to 8-10-2 while Edmonton fell to 12-9-2.

The Anaheim Ducks came from behind to defeat the rival San Jose Sharks so the question is can the Ducks keep the momentum going. Saturday’s 2-1 win saw Anaheim Ryan Garbutt, Rickard Rakell and Ryan Getzlaff find the back of the net for Anaheim while Jonathan Bernier picked up the win with a 21 save performance. The Sharks received goals off the sticks of Dylan DeMelo and Logan Couture but saw their three game winning streak also come to an end with Martin Jones absorbing the loss with a 23 save effort. The Ducks defense was particularly stout in the final period with just five shots allowed on goal.
The under is 3-0-1 in Coyotes last 4 vs. a team with a winning record and the under is 3-0-3 in Coyotes last 6 vs. Pacific while the under is 6-0-1 in Coyotes last 7 games playing on 1 days rest. Under is 6-0-3 in Sharks last 9 vs. Western Conference and the under is 4-0-2 in Sharks last 6 home games vs. a team with a road winning % of less than .400 while the under is 4-0-2 in Sharks last 6 vs. Pacific. The home team is 6-0 in the last 6 meetings and the under is 18-5-4 in the last 27 meetings in San Jose while the Coyotes are 7-21 in the last 28 meetings in San Jose.
If you like to follow trends then you would probably like San Jose and the under but you should wait for goalie confirmation….
