Baylor (4-7) vs Texas Tech (7-4)
Line: Texas Tech -21
Baylor heads to Cowboy Stadium to finish off their season against The Red Raiders. Baylor is coming off of a 38-3 loss to Texas A&M last week, their sixth loss in their last seven games. Quarterback Nick Florence and the Baylor offense continued to struggle. In their past six defeats, Baylor is averaging 8.5 points a game. Florense was intercepted twice last week and was just one for five scoring in the red zone. The Aggie offense rushed for 375 yards and three touchdowns against the Bear defense.
Texas Tech is coming off of one of their best performances of the season, a 41-13 drubbing of Oklahoma. With the win, the Red Raiders are going bowling for the 16th straight season. Taylor Potts threw for 388 yards against the Sooners including two touchdowns. Even though Texas Tech is at the bottom of the Big 12 rushing charts (79.4 yards per game), they lit up Oklahoma for 161 yards on the ground and three touchdowns. The run game allowed Texas Tech to control the clock and gain 32 first downs compared to Oklahoma's 16.

Texas Tech's 7th ranked offense (38.2 ppg) goes up against the 83rd ranked Baylor defense (27.9 ppg)
Last year Texas Tech failed to cover the 21.5 point spread in a 35-28 win. The over/under was 70
It is all over for Baylor. Their season has been down hill since losing Robert Griffin early and they are just ready for it to be over. With the loss last week, they have no shot at a bowl. In the long run, this season will give them some good experience, but in the short term, there is one more beat down to absorb. An awaking of a run game for Texas Tech is really bad news for the Baylor defense which just got dismantled against the run last week. This is just a mismatch on both sides of the ball and should get real ugly.
