The Line: Vancouver -145 Montreal +125
These teams are going in the opposite directions. Vancouver is on a 7 game winning streak while Montreal has lost 3 in a row and 6 of their last 8 games. To add insult to the wound, Micheal Cammalleri is injured for about 6-8 weeks with a knee injury. Montreal has a total of 6 regular players, the noteables include Paul Mara, Jaroslav Spacek and Andrei Kostitsyn. Montreal does not have the fire power to compete with a Canucks team that has been on a roll. In Vancouver's last 26 games against Northeast opponents, they have won 19 of them. In the last 17 meetings against Montreal they are 13-3-1. While Montreal has struggled at home going 3-7 in their past 10 games. Vancouver is coming off a 3 goal comeback against Toronto on Saturday and will have the momentum going into tonight's game.
I haven't written in a while as I have been busy, however this pick will make up for the time I missed. Take the Canucks on the road at -145. This is a gift! Montreal is a streaky team and I just do not see them coming out with a win tonight. They are hurt in both ends and will take almost a miracle for them to pull off a victory. Montreal will struggle tonight as they are without Micheal Cammalleri who plays similar to Castemore native Navdesh Bains. Roberto Luongo will have a bounce back game tonight.
IKARN'S PICK: Canucks - 145
Ikarn's Record: (9-4) 69%
