Neil Lennon and his Celtic side will never have a better chance of turning over one of the all-time great Champions League sides in A C Milan, who have won the trophy seven times, with only Real Madrid having won more.

Celtic have an injury worry over Joe Ledley for tonight`s game at the San Siro in Milan, however, that pales into insignificance when looking at the plight of the A C Milan manager, Massimiliano Allegri, who has a string of high profile injuries missing from his squad.

The list of injuries includes Riccardo Montolivo, striker Stephan El-Shaarawy and defenders Ignazio Abate and Mattia De Sciglio, however, Kak has now been added to that list, with the attacking midfielder out for at least a month with an injury which has prompted him to suggest that he does not get paid until he is fit, having only just signed for the Rossoneri! Midfield trio Antonio Nocerino, Nigel De Jong and Sulley Muntari are virtually assured of starting places, with Alessandro Matri and Mario Balotelli expected to lead the attack.

Celtic are the current Scottish champions and sit second in this season`s competition just below Inverness. However, they are looking in decent shape ahead of tonight`s match with Anthony Stokes looking to make his Champions League debut.

Celtic have found themselves once again in the `group of death`in this year`s competition, however, they will point to last year when they successfully beat the then reigning Champions, Barcelona at Hampden Park, so they will not be intimidated by travelling to face a Milan side who sit 9th in their league table having won one, drawn one and lost one so far; hardly an intimidating piece of form!

Tonight`s match will complete the first round of games in the group stages and Celtic will next play Barcelona at home on 1st October in a repeat of last season`s encounter which as I have already stated, Celtic won.
