Fulham vs Cardiff City
Fulham boss Martin Jol will be looking to build on his teams midweek win over Everton in the Carling Cup. Star man Dimitar Berbatov netted midweek and new signing Darren Bent also found the net after just coming off the bench. Fulham, who usually have a strong home record have not won at home in the Premier League yet this season. Cardfiff have been been very tough to break down and have played well at home in the league, on their travels Cardiff have also been hard to beat. Both teams are of a similar quality overall but I think Fulham may just have a couple of better individuals with Berbatov in particular. Either way I am taking both teams to score here. Both teams have scored in each of the last 8 Fulham home games. Cardiff have found the net in four of their last five away games and both teams have scored in seven of their last nine away games.
Pick: Both teams to score
Southampton vs Crystal Palace
Southampton have had a great start to the season sitting in seventh in the league table and playing some really attractive football Southampton fans who questioned the appointment of Pochettino will be eating some humble pie. Southampton's high pressure style of game has led to good results this season and with Osvaldo and Rickie Lambert they have two very good strikers up front, the goals havent yet arrived for Osvaldo but his all round play has been impressive. Ian Holloway knows his side must start to pick up points, with just one three points from five games Crystal Palace must start to get the occasional draw away from home and win their home games to have any chance of surviving. I see the problem for Palace being scoring goals and coming up against a Southampton defence that have only conceded two goals in five games it may not be easy today. I'm going to take Southampton to get the win at home here, i think they are just the better team and playing really well right now.
Pick: Southampton to win
Hull City vs West Ham United
Hull City had a terrific win against Newcastle last weekend scoring three and coming from behind twice. With Robbie Brady, the former Manchester United man looking the real deal here I think Hull have uncovered the player needed to keep them in the league. Brady has netted three goals already this season and his set pieces have been really good for a player making his debut season in the Premier League. WEst Ham are still struggling up front with no Andy Carroll, Stewart Dowing and Joe Cole all carrying injuries , Sam Allardyce will be looking to Kevin Nolan, Vaz Te and youngster Ravel Morrison to lead the hammers in a tricky game against Hull. Steve Bruce will be hoping his side can put in another performance at home where they are unbeaten in their last 5 games. I am going to take the unders here, West Ham have failed to score in their last two away games and Hull have been under the 2.5 mark in five of their last six home games.
Pick: Under 2.5 goals
