Are Westbromwich Albion for real? Personally I think so. Looking at their last three games away to Manchester United and Stoke and home to Arsenal and they have taken five points from those games, thats a terrific haul from a tough schedule. Steve Clarke has settled into management very well, Clarke was assistant to Kenny Dalglish at Liverpool just before Brendan Rodgers took over. Steve Clarke has settled on a style of management that builds on a solid defence and passing game. West Brom are tough to beat, they play a good brand of football and having won in Old Trafford recently they will not be afraid of traveling to Anfield to take on Liverpool. The team as a whole has some really good players and some great attacking talents with Sessegnon, Long, Amalfitano and Sinclair up front.

The Brendan Rodgers revolution has kicked in and Liverpool are up challenging for the lead in the Premier League the team is playing pretty well and Daniel Sturridge and Luis Suarez look a potent partnership. Thats the good news for Liverpool fans, the bad news, Liverpool have played only one team in the top half of the league an out of sorts Manchester United. Personally I think this is a good Liverpool team with a really good attack but their midfield and back four are very average. Gerrard is getting on, Lucas is limited , Henderson has potential but is young and impetuous and Sterling looks to be going backwards. At the back their best players have been Kolo Toure and keeper Mignolet.

I think this is a really interesting game, West Brom have had a really tough three games and this is a third game away from home in four. That is tough on a smaller team but I think Steve Clarke has West Brom mentally tough and I really do think that the Baggies raise their games agaisnt the bigger teams and will be relishing the trip to Anfield. For this reason I'm going to take West Brom +1 on the handicap at the massive price of 15/8. Follow me on twitter@antonpippo
