Celtic play host to AC Milan in game week 5 of the UEFA Champions League, Celtic currently sit bottom of the group with three points from four games and know that they must get a win tonight to give themselves a chance of advancing to the knockout stages of the competition. Neil Lennon will look to Gergio Samaras, Anthony Stokes and Kris Comons to lead the line for Celtic and get the goals to beat Ac Milan. Celtic do have one advantage tonight and that is Celtic Park, Champions League nights in Celtic Park are special occasions, the noise and atmosphere generated by the home support is like playing with a twelfth man. Celtic know that a win here at home is a necessity.
One of the problems for Milan this year has been their away form. In fact the Rossoneiri have yet to win away from the San Siro this season and are really struggling domestically sitting in thirteenth place in the league table. Manager Allegri will be hoping his side can get something from this game as a loss would put Ac Milan on the verge of being knocked out of Europe not just the Champions League. With Kaka, Balotelli, Matri, Muntari and Robinho there is lots of attacking talent on this squad but they seem to have had alot of problems putting it together as a team.
This game is quite a tough one to call, on paper Milan are the better side but in reality I think Celtic have more going for them and are in far better form. This game is really a tough one to call but I have noticed some value on the handicap markets Celtic draw no bet is evens and I think that represents good value. As Celtic are in the better form and do have home advantage with the great crowd atmosphere expected in Celtic Park tonight that could be worth alot. I'm going to take Celtic draw not bet at evens or +0.0 on the Asian Handicap. Follow me on twitter@antonpippo
