Roma are on a hot streak at the moment winning five of their last six, the only blemish a 3-0 loss to Juventus. This Roma teamhave stayed in touch with a ridiculously good record that Juventus have this year, their only problems though have been dropping points away from home. Roma havent won in their last four away games. Francesco Totti, Gervinho and Ljajic while leading the lines for Roma havent been lighting up the scoreboard. In fact they have have only notched 4 goals a piece and while Roma have been winning and accumalating points they have been doing it because of their top defence.
Hellas Veronas have been a revelation since being promoted last season and the Serie A newbies have the third best home record in the league winning eight and losing only two. The additionof Luca Toni to the squad looks an inspired move with the veteran scoring nine goals already this term, also the addition of the young argentinian Iturbe on loan from Porto has worked out very well. I think Hellas Veronas surprising start is definitely partly to do with the great work manager Andrea Mandorlini has put in since taking over the team.
Really interesting game this one and one that in theory could go either way. But looking deeper into the great start and home record by Hellas Veronas and we see that they have beaten the teams they should have and the other two losses have come against better teams in the league, they face Roma now a team in the top of the table and the only one who looks capable of catching Juventus. Roma will also know that Juve dropping points last night has to be jumped on and will be looking to pick up a big win here and at the current price of 8/11 I am willing to back Totti and co to get the job done.
