Fulham are in desperate need of points, having lost five of their last six, the cottagers are now rooted to the bottom of the Premier Legaue table five points from safety. Rene Meulensteen teh former Manchester United training coach returns to Old Trafford as boss of Fulham, he has signed Olympiacos striker Kevin Mitroglou and Clint Dempsey and one wonders  whether these two can turn around the fortunes of Fulham. Mitroglou is a good striker, who has proven to be clinical with the Greek club, a trip to Old Trafford will be a tough opening game for the Greek but this year United have not been as good at home as normal. Fulham will look to control the midfield with five across teh center Sidwell, Parker and I would imagine Dempsey.

This is a huge game for David Moyes and Manchester United, Meulensteen knows probably more about this Manchester United team than David Moyes does and will surely be able to set his team up to be tough to beat. But United with Van Persie, Rooney and Mata will be looking to get a big statement win here. I think the news of Vidic leaving at the end of the season could unsettle the United crowd so United will be lookingto get off to a fast start.

I was on United big to win last week against stoke and a fluke deflection and amazing strike cost them the points. But tomorrow at Old Trafford I think we will see Manchester United put in a huge performance and lay down a reminder to Liverpool, Everton and Tottenham that they are not completely out of therace for the Champions League. Take United -2 here as I think United score 4+tomorrow. Follow me on twitter@antonpippo
