Sam Allardyce is still angry about Andy Carroll's red card against Swansea and the big striker will miss his second game through suspension on Tuesday night in an important game for the hammers as a win could take them well up the table. KevinNolan has been sensational the last two games for West Ham scoring all four goals in both 2-0 wins. The Captain has been leading by example and will again be relied upon to provide both the driving runs from midfield and the finishing as West Ham are really struggling up front with no Andy Carroll and Joe Cole also missing through injury. The hammers resurgence in recent weeks though is based on a strong defence as they have not conceded a goal in their last three outings and it will be this that Sam Allardyce will look to continue.
The canaries have been in freefall away from Carrow Road, losing there last three games andnot scoring a goal in three of their last five away games. Chris Hughton will be hoping that his side can produce more offensively as the team have only managed two goals in the last six in all competitions. Gary Hooper, Bradley Johnson and Robert Snodgrass have provided the few offensive sparks that have happened for Norwich this season along with youngster Nathan Redmond. Defensively Norwich though have been really solid not conceding in three of their last four outings, it is this strong defence that will help Norwich stay out of the relegation trouble if they manage to avoid it.
With these two teams I just cant see where the goals are going to come from, I think there is a strong possibilty Norwich have their third 0-0 in the last four games. Both of these teams need a win to push them away from the relegation zone but I'm just not sure either will becapable of getting on the scoresheet to do it. I'm going to take the draw and have a little punt on the 0-0 as well. Follow me on twitter@antonpippo
