Its always an interesting game when Tottenham travel across London to play Chelsea, the blues have won nine of their last ten home games and under Jose Mourhino are unbeaten at Stamford Bridge this season. Chelsea have a very strong squad with a midfield to rival any club in Europe possessing the undeniably gifted Eden Hazard, Oscar , Ramires and Lampard. Mourhino has rotated things well and kept his midfield fresh for the most part this season with David Luiz stepping in and out of the midfield area as necessary and Andre Schurrle also adding to the ranks, not to mention Chelsea and England legend Frank Lampard who has been revitalised by the arrival of Mourhino. Chelsea's main problems this season has been up front though where the trio of strikers Torres, Eto and Ba have struggled to score goals. I think that Torres should be the focal point for Mourhino's men and he has actually played well this season but injuries have taken from him getting a sustained run at being the number one striker. I think Mourhino has the same idea and will be going with Torres for the big games from here on in.
Interestingly Tottenham's away form this season has been terrific, holding the best away record in the league. Tim Sherwood has managed to turn things around since the departure of Andre Villa Boas and the rebirth of Emmanuel Adebayor as a dangerous striker has been startling. Adebayor was on the outside looking in during Villa Boas time in charge of Tottenham but since Sherwood took over Adebayor has been a revelation. Roberto Soldado also found the net last weekend and if Soldado and Adebayor can form a good partnership then there is every chance Tottenham can continue to push for Champions League and maybe even stay on the outskirts of a title race. Through the center Tottenham are strong with Sandro, Dembele, Erikson all quality midfielders who will shut down the space for Hazard, Oscar and Schurrle.

I'm really looking forward to this game, I think it will be a tense affair though and tactically Sherwood will have to get it right coming up against Mourhino. Although Chelsea have the best home record in the league they have not been blowing teams away, especially the bigger teams with Chelsea winning by the minimum against City, Liverpool and Everton. I think that chelsea may grind out a result here over the ninty minutes but I fully expect Spurs to stay with them for along time. I'm taking a draw at halftime in this one as I like I said already Tottenham have lots of quality and I expect them to be well in this game right up until the end. Seven of Tottenham's 14 away games have been a draw at half time so getting 6/5 on the draw at halftime looks like great value to me. Follow me on twitter@antonpippo
