In all honesty this tie is probably done, a three nil win in Madrid that was comprehensive in both performance and result has left Borussia Dortmund with a huge mountain to climb. However there is light at the end of the tunnel for Borussia as Cristiano Ronaldo looks set to miss the game with a thigh strain, on Saturday without Ronaldo Madrid struggled for a hard fought victory that was highly flattered by two goals in the last ten minutes. There is lots of attacking talent at Carlo Ancelotti's disposal with Benzema, Angel Di Maria and Bale to go along with youngsters Isco and Morata but Real Madrid's team is built around Cristiano Ronaldo and his ability to score goals from almost anywhere. When Ronaldo plays Real Madrid just have more options, so if Ronaldo is missing .. well miracles occasionally happen.
I dont think Borussia Dormund will do enough to turn this tie around however with the return of Robert Lewandowski I think they can win this individual game. Borussia Dortmund and their coach Jurgen Klopp are known for a swashbuckling type of football going for it from the off and I think with Reus and Lewandowski they have two attackers that can get at this Real Madrid backline. Lewandowski's a lethal finisher and Reus pace and trickery makes him the perfect foil for the polish frontman.
I'm going to take Borussia Dortmund to win this game, Real Madrid have a 3-0 lead from the first leg and I feel that Madrid will be comfortable to sit on their lead. Even if Madrid score first I think that Borussia Dortmund can get it done here. I expect Klopp to have his side fully prepared and the home crowd will make this a tremendous atmosphere. Rememeber Borussia Dortmund did beat Real Madrid 4-1 here last season in the semi final. No reason they cant get another historic result tomorrow. Follow me on twitter@antonpippo
