The blue half of Manchester are 90 minutes from being Champions, Manchester City if they avoid defeat on Sunday will be Champions of England. It sounds simple but as we seen midweek against Aston Villa its easy for nerves to get the better of teams and it took Manchester City sixty odd minutes to break down Aston Villa on Wednesday. City fans will be hoping that the Sky blues get a couple of early goals here and dont leave it to the last second as they did two years ago when Sergio Aguero won the title forvManchester City in the ninty third minute. Aguero looks likely to be fit enough to take a place on the bench but I imagine Dzeko and Jovetich will start with Toure leading by example from midfield and Kompany marshalling the back line. Manuel Pelligrini will look for his side to do a professional job on Sunday and get a win at the Ethiad Stadium that will bring a league title to the club in Pelligrini's first season in charge.
West Ham United would love nothing more than to spoil the party for Manchester City on Sunday. Andy Carroll an ex Liverpool player could do his old employers a massive favour if he could get on the score sheet tomorrow. Kevin Nolan the West Ham captain, grew up a Liverpool supporter and would surely love to help his boyhood club win their first title in twenty four years. Its going to be really tough for West Ham at the Ethiad but then again West Ham have nothing to lose tomorrow and maybe that freedom added to nerves for Manchester City could produce an interesting game.
After the nerves of the Aston Villa game I think Manchester City will come out with all guns blazing on Sunday I am taking over 1.5 goals in the first half as I think Manchester City will score a couple in the first half. West Ham did win last weekend but that was against a Tottenham Hotspur team who were down to 10 men for the majority of the game. West Ham had lost four in a row previous to that win and I expect Manchester City to roll the hammers tomorrow on their way to the league title. Follow me on twitter@antonpippo
