The Champions have started like Champions having won both games, they dispatched Liverpool with ease last weekend after takign care ofNewcastle on the opening weekend with the minimal fuss. Stefan Jovetich, Eden Dzeko and Sergio Aguero are going to make alot of teams sweat over the season, there are few teams in Europe with such star power up front and Manuel Pelligrini's side have been blessed in that Department. Add in the talent of Nasri, Toure and Silva in midfield and its not hard to see why they were Champions last season and are favourites to repeat. This is simply put a terrific squad of players.

Stoke on the other hand have started the season badly losing at home to Aston Villa before rescuing a point in the last 10 minutes against a Hull City side who played for 76 minutes with 10 men. These are worrying signs for Mark Hughes and the former Manchester City boss will know the mammoth task that lies ahead for his side on Saturday when they go to the Ethiad to face a Manchester City team that have won eighteen of their last twenty home Premier League games. Stoke may look to Peter Crouch who has historically caused City some problems to be the fulcrum of their attack but I doubt that will be enough to turn over the Champions.

Really bad game to try to get some value here, the odds on Manchester City are ridiculously short. The only bet that looks like it could be some value is City to lead by 1 goal at halftime at 2/1. Its not a strong play but it is one that looks likely to come in and one that I will be playing myself. Follow me on twitter@antonpippo
