On Wednesday Argentina ran riot over an experimental German side, we can be sure than Joachim Lowe's line up on Sunday will include Matt Hummels and newly named captain Bastian Schweinsteiger. Such is the strength in depth of this German side that one of Ozil, Reus and Goetze will probably spend the majority of the game on the bench. Toni Kroos will partner Schweinsteiger in the middle and Thoma Muller will look to build on his remarkable World Cup. Germany have a terrific squad and will be looking to start the European Championship qualifying campaign with a win at the Signal Iduna Park. Lowe will be looking to blood some new players over the coming months but the majority of the World Cup winning team will take the field on sunday with the exeption of retired players such as Philip Lahm.

Scotland come into this game off the back of some decent results under Gordon Strachan. The scots are unbeaten in their last six internationals and Strachan will be looking to build on a solid defence and experienced midfield ith Manchster United's Darren Fletcher captaining the side. Steven Fletcher and Steven Naismith will be the key up front and if Scotland are to be any threat then the Sunderland and Everton strikers will be vital. They must play a holding role and keep the ball , Scotland will not have much posession against this German side and in order to frustrate their hosts the Scots must play a clever game of counter attacking.

All in all there is not much value in this game. Germany are ridiculously short and the over 2.5 goals mark is at 4/11 way to short as well. Its very difficult to pick out any market that has betting value and therefore I am going to take a more novel bet Andre Schurrle the Chelsea forward is 5/4 to score any time. Schurrle has been terrific for Chelsea this season and was brilliant for Germany in the World Cup. I fancy him to find the net and at 5/4 I think there is some value there.
