On Friday Wales managed to get a point against a Bosnia team that dominated the game but could not find the net, Gareth Bale had a quiet night attacking wise as did his Wales colleagues but on Monday they will look to get more offensive chances. Bale will be the main threat for Wales but they are playign against a Cyprus side who have improved markedly on their recent qualifying campaigns. Wales themselves are missing Aaron Ramsey and the Arsenal man will be really missed in games like this which promise to be won and lost in midfield and ones where Ramsey's penetrating runs from deep can be highly effective. Instead Wales will turn to Ledley, Kanu and Bale with the majority of the pressure on Bale to provide the goals.
While Cyprus did pull off a shock against Bosnia and played well in defeat to Israel they are still far from the finished article. Sion Midfielder Christofi scored two against Bosnia and will be the fulcrum of the Cyriot attack. This is a well balanced side who will work hard for each other and wont be intimadated travelling to Cardiff to take on the Welsh. I feel like this game is going to be another low scoring tight international game and we could see another scoreless draw. I'm going to take the unders either way in a game that could decide who challenges Belgium at the top of the group. Follow me on twitter@antonpippo
