On Sunday the Manchester derby will dominate the world football scene as the biggest game of the day and the biggest game of the weekend in the Premier League. Manuel Pelligrini will be looking for more from his side after two listless performances back to back that have seen Manchester City lose to both West Ham and Newcastle. Further bad news for City was the loss of David Silva to injury, the Spanish playmaker has been at the heart of most of the good things City have done this year. Manchester City will look to Sergio Aguero who has been brilliant this year and will look to take advantage of a Manchester United rearguard that have been poor for most of the season. Ya Ya Toure has struggled this season but everytime the Ivorian has played against United he has been exceptional and Manchester City fans will be hoping that this game can ignite Toure's season. At the back City have struggled and captain Vincent Kompany has had a change of partner a number of times this year already, it appears as if DeMicheles will play Sunday and his lack of pace could be a problem for City but he is a better player than Mangela and I personally think he should start.
This game will be the second test of Van Gaals team in a week after Manchester United played Chelsea last weekend. United surprised most people when pulling off a draw with a last second goal against Mourhino's team. Robin Van Persie hit that equaliser his first of the year and it was evident from the celebrations that it was really needed. The dutch captain has been playing well without finding the net and will get his strike partner Wayne Rooney back on Sunday as Rooney returns from suspension. United won one and drew two in Rooney's absence but as Captain Rooney hasnt been as good as last year. This will be a huge test for United and the key will be how effective Angel Di Maria and Daly Blind can be. Di Maria is the center of all creativity in the team and Blind is the protection for the back four. If both play well United could have a chance of winning this one in the Ethiad.

Last week I went with the overs even though I fancied United on the handicap, I wont make the same mistake two weeks in a row. Manchester United are not as good as Manchester City, yet. But what United do have is an offence that can hurt a Manchester City team thats struggling at the back. In addition this will be Blind, Di Maria, Shaw and Rojo's first Derby game they are sure to get some extra adrenaling boosts playing in this atmosphere. I am taking United on the handicap and going to spread a little on the money line. RVP and Rooney might just find a way to win this for Manchester United.
