A trip to Anfield faces Liverpool after an away game with Maribor is what faces Chelsea on Saturday morning. Jose Mourhino had the luxury of resting key players for the game against Maribor though with Diego Costa and Courtois sitting out. Mourhino will bring back in the league's top scorer for the game at Anfield and will bring Courtois back to the nets as well. Fabregas, Willian and Hazard will form the midfield trio that Liverpool will have to stop if they want to get a result. Chelsea on paper look far too strong for a Liverpool team that are really struggling at the moment. With so many attacking options Chelsea have real strenght in depth and will be very hard to stop. Already Chelsea have opened up a twelve point lead over Liverpool in the league and a win for the visitors tomorrow would all but rule Liverpool out of a run for the title.
Brendan Rodgers did actually rest a couple of his starters for the trip to the Bernebeau and although Real Madrid only won 1-0 they completely outplayed Liverpool and at times in the first half it was embaressing for the reds who just couldnt get the ball off their illustrious opponents. Mario Balotelli and Stephen Gerrard will come back into the line up although Markovich looked lively in the game midweek I doubt Rodgers will give him the chance to start against Chelsea. Liverpool also rested Raheem Sterling midweek and given Sterlings importance to Liverpools attack it may have been a good move by the reds boss.

Anfield is a tough place for teams to go and even if Chelsea are top of the table and still unbeaten this year its not going to be an easy game for the Blues. In Chelsea's two tough away trips this year they have conceded late goals to end up only drawing the games. Jose Mourhino is a master tactician but his teams have got caught because they sat back and tried to defend a lead. I think that the Chelsea boss will have learned from this when the Blues face Liverpool and I think they will push on to ensure the win here. I am going to take Chelsea to win. I am not making it a high unit bet as I think Liverpool at home should always be respected but the 13/10 about Chelsea winning is too big on a team that is in such good form against a Liverpool team that is really struggling.
