The second of the Group D clases on Friday night will see Poland travel to Georgia for a tough qualifier. The Georgians are managed by former Newcastle United midfielder Tomas Ketsbia and have proven to be a tough nut to crack in wualifying campaigns. The Georgians are defensively sound and onlylost by the minimum in their home game against Ireland and the away fixture with Scotland. Georgia will set up to be tough to beat and I fully expect them to give Poland plenty of problems to night.
The Polish just about got a draw against a battle hardened Scotland in their last qualifying campaign. This on the back of a brilliant home win over Germany. With Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski leading the line alongside Ajax starlet Milik this is a Poland team with plenty of firepower. Milik has scored in two of the three qualifiers and is attracting attentiong from clubs across Europe. At the back Poland are marshalled by Arsenal goalkeeper Szesny and he will be tough to beat for this Georgia side.

Interesting game that looks like it could be decided by a solitary goal. I was all over Poland last time out against Scotland and they let me down badly but then they owe us nothing after beating Germany outright in the first round of fixtures. I quite fancy Poland to bounce back from the disappointment of the Scotland game with a win here in Georgia but I do expect this to be a battle from start to finish.
