Two of the unbeaten teams in Group F go face to face in Romania as the home side will try to leap frog Northern Ireland in the Group standings. Romania can go top of the Group if they can get a win against the surprise package Northern Ireland. Romania will look to Stancu who netted twice against Finland in Finland to lead the line, the striker plying his trade in Turkey has had a fine start to the season although the team sit mid table. The romanians have actually found it hard to win at home in recent times with three draws in a row in qualifiers here and will look to end that run with a win on Friday night.
Michael O'Neill's surprise package have won three from three in the Group thus far and top the table. A great win against Hungry was followed by a win over the Faroes and an unexpected victory in Greece. Northern Ireland will be without injured captain Stephen Davis, the Iirish will also be without Jamie Ward the goalscoring hero in Greece who will miss out with a muscle injury. Kyle Lafferty and Chris Brunt will be the key men for Northern Ireland in this trip. If they can work hard hold the ball up and keep possession then Northern Ireland could leave Bucharest with something and their best start to a qualifying campaign ever.

While Northern Ireland have been terrific thus far in the group the injuries they have suffered may cost them here. Romania are a tough side, playing well and are overdue a perfromance at home. The Romanian fans will be loud, passionate and the National Stadium in Bucharest will be buzzing with anticipation. I do think Northern Ireland will put in a good performance here but may just come undone because of the injuries. I am going to take Romania to get the win here.
